This is why I love fandoms. We notice things.
Did anybody else flail uncontrollably at this? Because that is a proper kiss. Not a ‘You may now kiss the bride and restart time’ kiss, it’s a ‘Oh hello Mrs. Doctor you’ve been dead a while and now you’re here and I can touch you so I’m going to kiss you and by the way I missed you and did I mention that I love you?’ kiss.
Those few moments really showed just how much the Doctor loves her and he didn’t even have to say it.
